A small boy, watching his mother at work in the kitchen, learns the names of commonly used liquid measures. He figures out the relationship of pints, quarts, and gallons, learns to identify the symbols used to designate liquid content, and observes the use of liquid measures in the dairy, in the gasoline station, and in the home.
