Yanks Invade Africa (silent)

This Castle film shows various scenes from the United States in the 1940s during wartime. There are shots of ships at sea with guns, soldiers holding papers, soldiers resting and smiling, and views of rocky islands. Men prepare guns and run drills, climb down ropes into boats, and unload supplies on a beach. Military jeeps drive along tracks, soldiers march through streets, and planes drop bombs from the sky. There are also scenes of tanks and vehicles crossing sand, soldiers firing guns, and explosions in the desert. The film ends with soldiers emerging from a tent and tanks being struck by blasts.
