Typing Skills: Position and Keystroke (1972)

Uses a time and motion study and slow-motion photography to stress that good typing skills begin by establishing proper position at the typewriter and correct keystroking techniques. Identifies the proper typing position as being comfortable and relaxed, with the feet on the floor. Illustrates how correct typing with an electric typewriter is a matter of moving the fingers as little as possible while maintaining good eye-hand coordination.
