Triangles: An Introduction (1965)

A triangle is a geometric shape formed by three line segments that meet at three corners. Triangles can be classified based on the lengths of their sides: equilateral triangles have all sides the same length, isosceles triangles have two sides the same length, and scalene triangles have all sides of different lengths. Not all sets of three line segments can form a triangle; they will only do so if the sum of the lengths of the two shorter segments is greater than the length of the longest segment.
