This film follows a candid cameraman through Venice and Santa Monica, California, as he captures footage of an ordinary day. It then takes viewers to the maiden flight of a Douglas B19 bomber and then to the Battle of the Atlantic and the Russian-German War. Through it, viewers witness the mobilization of citizens, guerrilla warfare tactics, and the destruction of a German ship. In the end, it leaves viewers with no certain outcome for the conflict.
