New Harvest on the Prairie (1970s)

This 1970s film follows the growth of a small town, Hennepin, Illinois, as it is transformed from a farming community to an industrial center. The film shows the construction of a steel mill and other infrastructure projects, as well as the relocation of a house, the installation of a gas line, and the excavation of arrowheads by schoolchildren. Finally, the film ends with a view of the steel mill at sunset, representing the success of the town and the transformation of the local economy.
