Rising at dawn, a young boy hitches his horses to a wagon filled with watermelons. The simplicity of the boy and his older brothers peddling melons to housewives, businessmen and passersby is contrasted with the bustle of Tel Aviv with its shiny cars and modern department stores. Throughout this non-narrative film, scenes of Tel Aviv life are juxtaposed with daydream sequences of the young boy riding a stallion across fields and beaches
