Little Smokey
Narrated by Hopalong Cassidy, this short film about Smokey the Bear, a three month old cub who survived a devastating forest fire in New Mexico’s Capitan Mountains. The film follows Smokey as he is taken to the animal hospital for treatment, across America, and finally to the National Zoo in Washington D.C. where he is presented to the nation as a symbol of forest fire prevention. The film emphasizes the importance of being careful with fire to protect our forests and wildlife.
