Listening Skills : An Introduction (1965)

Presents a series of vignettes in which Bill, a high-school student, is involved in different listening situations. Sound and visual images are combined to contrast what is going through his mind while listening with what should be going through his mind. Advances three rules for better listening: pay attention, think about what is being said, and respond to the person talking. As Bill begins to apply these rules, he gets much more out of what is being said to him.
