Busy Harbor, The (1960)

Ted and Maria visit their friend Captain McKay, who lives in a bustling harbor city. They explore the harbor, observing fishing boats unloading their catches, tugboats assisting barges, and freighters transferring cargo from various countries. Captain McKay explains the roles of different vessels, including tugboats, barges, and cranes, in the harbor’s operations. They meet Mr. Larson, an apple cargo owner, and learn about the continuous movement of goods in and out of the harbor. The adventure culminates with a tugboat ride, where they see the harbor’s safety measures and gain a deeper appreciation for maritime activities.
