Boy Of The Seminoles, A (1956)

The film tells the story of Naha, a young Seminole Indian boy living in the Everglades of Florida. Set in a time when the wilderness was largely untouched, Naha embarks on an adventure to find his missing dog, Lugy. Along the way, he discovers a baby alligator that Lugy has brought home. After discussing it with his mother and father, Naha learns that keeping the alligator as a pet may not be wise. Instead, he and his father journey into the swamp to return the baby alligator to its natural habitat, where it can thrive among its kind. The film highlights themes of family, nature, and the wisdom of making responsible choices.
