Reveals the differences in plant susceptibility to the three major air pollutants, carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and photochemical oxidants. Explains the crop and forest damage in the so-called ‘ACCIDENTAL POLLUTION’ process. Uses macrophotography, aerial photography and time lapse photography to show the damage done to various species by a variety of pollutants in representative locations, including California, San Bernardino Mountains, Florida, Alabama, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Tennessee.
