Narrated by a juvenile police officer, this fictional film focuses on Sammy Robertson, a teenage driver with apt motor skills who is killed in a traffic accident caused by speeding. The film shows the steps leading up to Sammy’s accident: his background as a driver, his attitude behind the wheel, his peer’s influence on his driving habits, and his past experiences with speeding. The narrator relates all of these factors to Sammy’s reasons for speeding on the day of the fatal incident, and makes a valuable lesson of the tragic event.
