Too Much Of A Good Thing (1982)
The story follows two boys, Dwayne and Gerald, who are best friends despite their differing socioeconomic backgrounds—Dwayne is wealthy while Gerald is poor. They enjoy watching TV together, but Dwayne neglects his studies, leading to poor academic performance. Gerald studies hard and eventually graduates, while Dwayne does not. As adults, Gerald becomes a successful architect, while Dwayne inherits his father’s business but fails to manage it and ends up bankrupt. Dwayne finds work as a handyman in one of Gerald’s buildings, where he continues to watch TV.
