The Monkey’s Paw (1978)
A family encounters a mysterious sailor who brings a cursed object known as the Monkey’s Paw, which grants three wishes. The father, Charles, wishes for $500, which ominously comes true after the tragic death of their son, Herbert, in a factory accident. Grieving, the family decides to use the paw again to wish for Herbert’s return, but the consequences of their wishes lead to horror as they realize he cannot return in the way they hoped. In a desperate attempt to undo their mistake, they make a final wish that seals their tragic fate.
