The Doctor (1947)
Dr. Ralph Kramer, a pediatrician, conducts routine examinations and vaccinations for children in his office. He assesses a young boy named Carl, checks his blood pressure, and draws blood for testing. Dr. Kramer then attends to a baby needing a vaccination, and later, he visits a hospital to check on a girl named Betty with a broken arm. He also sees Tommy, who has a broken leg and is in traction, and Jenny, who is recovering from an appendectomy. Lastly, he diagnoses another patient, Joan, with measles and prescribes medication. Throughout the day, Dr. Kramer balances his time between the office and various home visits to ensure all his young patients receive proper care.
