The Cat That Walked By Himself (1983)
This film tells the story of a cat who prefers to walk alone, contrasting his wild nature with the domestication of other animals. The cat observes a man and woman who have created a cozy home, and despite his independence, he is drawn to their warmth and the comforts of their cave. The woman makes a series of bargains with the cat, allowing him to earn his place by the fire and enjoy milk, while he maintains his individuality. Ultimately, the cat agrees to catch mice and be kind to the couple’s baby, but he remains true to his nature as the solitary cat who walks by himself.
