Spinal Column–Structure and Function in Man (1956)

Describes in detail the structure, function, and movement of the spinal column in man. Uses X-ray photography and animated drawings to indicate the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal regions and shows how the individual vertebrae are joined together to form a strong but flexible backbone. Points out the relationship between the spine, other bones, and muscles of the body and stresses good posture.
