Spelling Is Easy (1947)
In this educational film, a student named Tom struggles with spelling words for a school report on a science experiment involving soda and vinegar. With the help of his teacher and classmates, he learns five rules to improve his spelling: hearing the word pronounced correctly, looking at the word closely, repeating it, writing it down, and checking it against the original. Tom also discovers the importance of a personal dictionary to keep track of difficult words. By the end, he gains confidence in his spelling and offers to report on another experiment.
