In 2169, the spaceship Photon 1, carrying a crew of four, embarked on a historic journey to Proxima Centauri, reaching the alien planet pc4 in 2273. The crew, including Joo Gawa, Pierre V, Ken Waters, and Jang Sakura, conducted experiments and discovered unique plant life that displayed unusual light absorption behavior due to the planet’s three suns. After encountering a mysterious “zone of darkness,” they theorized that the plants absorbed all light when Proxima Centauri was visible, causing communication loss. Their exploration led to the accidental discovery of a nutrient derived from the alien plants, which could solve food shortages on Earth and other colonies. The mission was deemed a success, and the crew was eager to return with their findings.
