Light All About Us (1954)
Through observation and experimentation, a schoolboy finds that we see only when there is light. This leads him to consider two properties of light, reflection and refraction. He observes reflection, which makes objects visible, as he bounces light off of his knife, a mirror and a purse. Refraction, which bends light, is shown as he looks through his glass of water and his father’s glasses. Emphasizes the importance of learning about light and the ways we use it.
