Lady Of The Lake (1949)

This film is about Sir Walter Scott, a famous Romantic author, and his poem The Lady of the Lake. It follows the story of the poem and the background of the Scottish people and places Scott described in his writing. It highlights Scott’s home of Abbotsford, the city of Edinburgh, castles of the region, and the highlands. It also explores the clans and the weapons they used, as well as the colors and patterns of their tartans. Lastly, it follows the characters to Stirling Castle and the conclusion of the story.
