Kumak – The Sleepy Hunter (1953)
In a far northern land, a sleepy man named Kumak struggles to become a successful hunter, unable to catch seals or even a wife. One day, he saves a magic man and is rewarded with exceptional hunting skills, which make him popular among the village girls. However, he is warned never to reveal his secret. As he becomes complacent and falls back into his sleepy ways, his wife leaves him due to his laziness. Eventually, Kumak wakes up to find himself in a worse situation than before, all because of his wife’s curiosity.
