Italian Children (1950)
Pictures rural family life in Umbria, Italy. Shows picking & sorting of olives, pressing of the olives to obtain oil & a festival celebrating the completion of the olive harvest. Pictures the Conti family during harvest time in Umbria. They harvest olives, sort them, and take them to the mill for extraction of the oil. On a trip to the market they see the monastery of St. Francis Assissi, and they later celebrate the harvest with a feast.
