Birth Of The Savior (1952)
This film tells the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, set in ancient Israel under Roman occupation. Amidst oppression and longing for a prophesied Messiah, Mary is visited by an angel who tells her she will bear God’s son. Despite initial turmoil for Joseph, an angel reassures him. Due to a Roman census, Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, where, unable to find lodging, Jesus is born in a stable. His birth is announced by angels to shepherds, who then come to worship the newborn Savior.
