Rumplestiltskin (1950s?)

A greedy king desires more gold and imprisons a miller’s daughter, demanding she spin straw into gold or face dire consequences. The miller’s daughter, unable to fulfill the task, is helped by a dwarf who spins the straw for her in exchange for her necklace. As the king continues to demand more gold, the dwarf returns, asking for her firstborn child as payment. After marrying the prince and becoming queen, she forgets her promise until the dwarf returns to claim the child. He offers her a chance to keep her baby if she can guess his name within three days. After several failed attempts, she learns his name from a page who overheard the dwarf singing in the forest, ultimately freeing herself from the dwarf’s claim.
