Head of the House (1953)

In a small city known for its pottery, a social worker, a policeman, and a minister collaborate to help a troubled boy named Paul Moody. Paul, initially a well-behaved child, becomes involved with a bad crowd and starts to exhibit delinquent behavior. Despite attempts to redirect his energy through a settlement house, he struggles with self-esteem and the harsh discipline from his father. After running away, Paul faces the consequences of his actions, leading to a critical intervention by the adults in his life, who aim to help him and his family understand the importance of nurturing and guidance.
