Bip as a Soldier (1975)
Contrasts, tragicomically, the fun at playing soldier with the realities of war in a pantomime by Marcel Marceau. Opens with comments by Marceau in which he indicates that “Bip as a Soldier is an outcry against any war.” Uses extensive sound effects, mirage filter photography, and negative images to enhance realism in the scenes of war, marching and death.
