Motivating The Class (1950)

A young student teacher discovers that his own enthusiasm formathematics is not sufficient motivation for restless young students. Hefinds that only when he aims his teaching at goals his youngsters can recog- nize and find desirable, do class interest and achievement rise to the level he requires. Film demonstrates that adequate motivation is basic to allgood teaching and the techniques and psychological principles that thisteacher employs apply with equal force in any area of the school curriculum.
