Washington Temple- A New Landmark

The Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located in Maryland, is a new landmark in Washington DC. The temple, made of white Alabama marble, features six gold-covered spires and a gold-leaf statue of an angel named Moroni. The temple was completed after three years of construction and $15 million.
